Architecture Practice

Architecture Designed for Climate, Comfort and Longevity

Architecture that integrates climate responsiveness, material efficiency, and human comfort.

I am an architect focused on designing buildings that respond intelligently to climate, materials, and human experience.

In my practice, architecture is not treated only as a visual discipline. Each project is approached as a technical and environmental challenge: how spatial organization, materials, and construction systems can improve thermal comfort, durability, and building performance.

My work integrates architectural design, construction coordination, and research on sustainable building systems, always seeking solutions that are both technically sound and spatially meaningful.

Core Focus

Climate-Responsive Design

Spatial strategies that respond to solar exposure, ventilation, and local environmental conditions.

Construction Coordination

Bridging architectural intent and technical execution during construction phases.

Sustainable Systems

Research-driven solutions focused on durability, efficiency, and responsible material use.

About

A practice shaped by technical depth, environmental awareness, and built experience.

I am an architect with more than a decade of professional experience in architectural design, interior architecture, and construction coordination.

Throughout my career, I have developed residential, commercial, and institutional projects while frequently working in close collaboration with construction teams and technical professionals.

My work explores the relationship between climate, materials, and architectural form. I approach each project as a system in which spatial quality, environmental performance, and constructive feasibility must work together.

This perspective has shaped my professional practice and continues to guide how I develop architectural solutions and building strategies.

Design Approach

Architecture as a system of performance, material logic, and human experience.

My design process begins with a careful reading of the physical and environmental context of each project. Rather than applying predefined stylistic solutions, I focus on understanding how light, ventilation, materials, and spatial organization interact to create comfortable and durable environments.

Climate-responsive spatial organization

Constructive logic and material efficiency

Improvement of thermal and acoustic comfort

Adaptive reuse of existing structures

Integration between design and construction

For me, architecture is not only about form. It is a system in which environmental performance, material choices, and spatial experience must operate together.

Services

Technical architecture services grounded in performance and feasibility.

Each service is developed with attention to spatial quality, constructive clarity, and environmental responsiveness.

Architectural Design

I develop architectural projects for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings, focusing on spatial clarity, environmental comfort, and constructive feasibility.

Interior Architecture

I design interior environments with careful attention to spatial comfort, lighting quality, and functional organization.

Construction Coordination

I provide technical support during construction phases, helping ensure that architectural concepts are translated accurately into built form.

Sustainable Building Consulting

I offer consulting services focused on improving building performance through climate-responsive strategies and efficient use of materials.

Projects & Built Work

Selected architectural works developed throughout professional practice.

Humanized Childbirth Room

Hospital Lotty Íris – Boa Vista

In this project, I transformed a former hospital ward into a space designed to support humanized childbirth practices within an active medical facility.

The design aimed to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment while maintaining the technical requirements of a hospital setting.

Lighting systems, spatial organization, and material choices were carefully developed to support both medical procedures and patient comfort.

Adaptive Reuse Café

Urban Revitalization Project

I led the architectural transformation of an abandoned warehouse into a café located on one of the most active commercial avenues of the city.

The project required detailed evaluation of the existing structure, spatial reorganization, and the adaptive reuse of materials and furniture from the previous café location.

This intervention helped reactivate a previously unused building and contributed to the revitalization of the surrounding urban environment.

Residential Expansion Using Insulated Concrete Forms

This project involved the expansion of an existing residence using insulated concrete form construction.

The intervention required integrating a conventional masonry structure with a high-performance building system.

Through this process, I was able to significantly improve thermal comfort and acoustic performance within the residence.

High-Performance Residential Project Using ICF

In this project, I developed a residential design using insulated concrete form construction.

The work required coordination between architectural design, construction teams, and material suppliers, contributing to the introduction of innovative construction systems within the regional construction sector.

Research & Innovation

Sustainable building systems and material innovation.

Alongside my architectural practice, I develop research initiatives related to sustainable construction materials and building systems.

One of my current investigations explores the reuse of EPS residues generated during insulated concrete form construction.

My objective is to develop lightweight concrete blocks incorporating recycled EPS material.

This research seeks to:

  • • reduce construction waste
  • • improve thermal performance of building materials
  • • expand sustainable construction alternatives

Through these initiatives, I aim to connect architectural practice with responsible material innovation and environmental awareness.

Climate-Responsive Architecture

Designing for extreme environments.

A significant part of my professional experience has been developed in regions characterized by high solar exposure and demanding climatic conditions.

Designing in equatorial climates requires strategies capable of improving thermal comfort while reducing energy demand.

Solar exposure control
Passive cooling techniques
Natural ventilation systems
Shading and façade protection
Use of materials with improved thermal performance

Working in such environments has provided valuable insight into how architecture can respond to climate challenges and contribute to more resilient built environments.
